TORONTO, April 26, 2026 — Young people from the Viet Youth Readiness Hub (VYRH), a youth initiative of the Canada Vietnam Cultural & Educational Council (CVCEC), met employers at the Davenport Job Fair, hosted by the office of Davenport MP Julie Dzerowicz.

At the fair, participants:

  • met employers from across Toronto’s Davenport area and learned about current labour market needs;
  • explored career pathways in Canada, including a session with Toronto Fire Services on public service careers;
  • practised communication and networking skills in a professional setting.

VYRH focuses on practical, real-world experiences that help young people prepare for school and working life in Canada. CVCEC thanked the organizers for hosting the event.
