As we usher in the new year, the Canada Vietnam Cultural & Educational Council (CVCEC) is pleased to announce a positive step forward in our mission to preserve and promote heritage education.
CVCEC extends our sincere appreciation to the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) for their openness, trust, and constructive engagement during our initial discussions regarding the development and implementation of Vietnamese language programs.
We believe that the Vietnamese language is far more than a medium of communication; it is a profound cultural legacy, a cornerstone of identity, and a vital bridge that connects generations within Canada’s diverse multicultural fabric.
This dialogue marks a significant beginning. CVCEC views this as a foundational step toward deeper mutual understanding and the creation of sustainable educational pathways that will empower our youth and serve the community for years to come.
