The Canada Vietnam Cultural & Educational Council (CVCEC) recently concluded a highly productive session at the 8th Ontario K-12 International Education Conference. This event served as a strategic platform to champion comprehensive international education solutions and deepen the bilateral cooperation between Canada and Vietnam.

High-Level Strategic Engagement

During the conference, CVCEC Founder and Chair, Ms. Phan Thi Quynh Trang, engaged in critical discussions with Ms. Christine Riedel (Ontario Ministry of Education) and Mr. Matthew Raby (President of the Ontario Association of School Districts, OASDI). These dialogues focused on aligning collaborative organizational efforts with provincial educational policies. We are particularly proud to have served as a sponsor for the global education roundtable, further affirming our commitment to cultivating a trusted and robust educational ecosystem.

Market Growth and Student Success

Key data shared by Ontario public school boards during the event highlighted a remarkable trend: Vietnam is now firmly positioned in the top two markets for international student enrollment across Ontario’s public school system.

This growth in student mobility is anchored by academic excellence. The conference opening ceremony proudly celebrated the achievements of a standout Vietnamese student, currently interning at Sheridan College with an impressive 3.91 GPA. Such success stories serve as a powerful inspiration for the next generation of global citizens and young leaders.

Our Commitment to Integrity and Transparency

In an era where inaccurate information regarding international study can mislead students and families, CVCEC stands as a beacon of transparency. We are dedicated to supporting school boards in promoting the authentic and standardized Canadian public education system.

We remain committed to providing evidence-based, accurate information, empowering Vietnamese families to navigate safe and effective educational pathways while steering them away from substandard programs marketed through misleading channels.

CVCEC will continue to tirelessly cultivate cultural and educational diplomacy between our two nations, grounded in our core values of integrity, transparency, and sustainable development.
